This treasure was tucked away on the drawing board for a number of years before it became a reality. When Dave owned the Broken Spoke Saloon, he happened to meet an editor from Easyrider motorcycle magazine. In conversation, he challenged Dave to produce something unique for the magazine. This 1941 Harley flathead 3 wheeler came out in the October issue in 1992.

Dave had this flathead engine gathering dust for 10 to 15 years. It was refurbished and put to good use in this one-of-a kind ride. The tranny came from an old 45' police trike and he used the early model I-beam springer front end. The rear end was found in a salvage yard on an ATV. The frame for this 3 wheel wonder was designed and hand-fabricated by Dave. He incorporated the gas tank and oil reserve into the top tube of the frame.

This little beauty stands only 30" high but would be noticed in any crowd. It was on display at the Broken Spoke Saloon when Dave owned the bar and is still the most asked about project. Time to dust it off and get it back out!
